There are different interpretations of the term 'religion'. Some translations will indicate the verb 'to bind over and over again' and others 'reverence for the gods'. In this context we will join the two to denote a 'repeated practice of worshipping'. The oldest 'religion' was the reverence of the natural forces that controlled the universe - the study of Cosmology. It's no secret that religious beliefs can be the cause of much division in the world, in the sense every religion claims exclusivity to 'God'. This practice is man made. The creator is accessible to us all by discovering more of ourselves and building on our similarities as opposed to our differences. If you look carefully, the same spirit resides in all major religions within all the prophets - under different guises.
